Healthy Child, Healthy World is a non profit organization whose mission is to protect the health and wellbeing of children from harmful exposures by educating parents and engaging communities to make responsible decisions by making healthy, green choices.
Healthy Child, Healthy World offers a very good presentational DVD for $12.00 called "Creating Healthy Environments for Children - Easy Steps for Home, Childcare centers and Schools". is a resource for parents which offers information on household products which are hazardous and affect children's health. CHEC offers the HealtheHouse website with information on many common household concerns particularly relating to children's health.
is a new website from The Natural Resources Defense Council. This is an excellent resource for a wide range of topics. It contains blogs, multimedia, and award-winning journalism. The home page is at www.onearth.org.

The mission of the Environmental Working Group (EWG) is to use the power of public information to protect public health and the environment. EWG is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1993 by Ken Cook and Richard Wiles.
In 2002, EWG founded the EWG Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) organization that advocates on Capitol Hill for health-protective and subsidy-shifting policies.
EWG specializes in providing useful resources (like Skin Deep and the Shoppers' Guide to Pesticides in Produce) to consumers while simultaneously pushing for national policy change.
The EWG website is a rich resource and source for active participation.
