Composting, Logs Too! (A kid's Idea for Going Green)

I began reading a book about going green I was fasinated. I started to skip around in the book. One fact was about how rotting logs turn into soil when you leave the logs where you found them. As I read more of the paragraph, that thought the author wrote reminded me of composting. My mom had a composting bin outside usually I would throw my banana peels in the trash, but when my mom got the composting bin I changed my ways. That's my story and there's nothing I want to change.
